My area of expertise is reflection seismology. More specifically my work focuses on the development of seismic reflection processing algorithms, the imaging of time-amplitude and time-frequency anomalies attributed to the occurrence of hydrocarbons, petroleum geology applications of high-resolution reflection seismology and the use of wavelet transforms to facilitate the integration of multi-scale geoscientific datasets. I am also interested in the use of computer tomography scanning (CT-scan) for analyzing physical properties of geological materials. I have started to work at division of Quebec of the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) in 2005 as a postdoctoral fellow before becoming a research geoscientist in 2007. I am also an adjunct-professor at INRS-ETE.  My work focuses on the processing and analysis of seismic reflection data to evaluate the potential of energy resources in Canada’s North. I also use seismic reflection to study the geological storage of CO2 and environmental risks associated with the exploitation of non-conventional energy resources.
